VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. I got a Simplicity card for a balance transfer.

My very first and only transaction was blocked by the off-shore people who do not understand english. Then I could not prove to their satisfaction that i am me. So I used my old card to re-new the transfer away from Simplicity. As of now they have not refunded a 150 dollar fee for the transfer withdrawal and will not cancel the card.

I loathe the Citi bank and non service.

The representatives wont even know what they are doing. I Have called them 4 times about the same issue and waited 1hr each and everytime they say it is resolved and it was never resolved. If the representatives of a company cannot fix the issues then who will? very bad service and very unsatified. No wonder why this not the top bank yet. I am closing my accounts.

Citibank review: Why is facebook part of the log-on process?

I have had accounts with Citibank since the early 70s (before it was Citibank). Increasingly recently, I get "not available" or "please try later" when I try to use the website. When I log on, among the various web steps shown lightning fast (or not) in the lower left corner of the screen is "waiting for facebook". No one can or is willing to tell me what this is about and why. I want as little as possible to do with facebook. I would like to know what this is about and how I opt out.

For those who consider banking with Citibank, DO NOT DO IT!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! The bank can make up any false claims to block your accounts even though the reasons are definitely not legit. They can block your accounts for several months while you need the money in the accounts!! Terrible and unethical conduct, I'll end their relationship as soon as they return my money!

I have had problems with the citi.com website for over a year. Trouble logging in, error messages, and the latest is "Whoops, something went wrong" on their website. I only have a credit card now because their customer service was so deplorable that I closed my checking account years ago. I only keep their credit card for the AA miles.
