Citibank - Very Bad service

The representatives wont even know what they are doing. I Have called them 4 times about the same issue and waited 1hr each and everytime they say it is resolved and it was never resolved. If the representatives of a company cannot fix the issues then who will? very bad service and very unsatified. No wonder why this not the top bank yet. I am closing my accounts.

IF the money is being sent to the state, contact your local Attorney General for a list of unclaimed money. Follow the process and you should get your money.

Banks typically don't escheat funds until an account has been dormant for years.

However, companies can get fined for holding on to funds and may send them out quicker. At the end of the day, this is your fault for leaving money sitting in account and doing nothing with it.

Citibank - No Manager for CitiGold Client!!!! Over 1 hour on call with representative

I am a U.S. citizen that lives most of the year in Brazil I called customer service with a simple question I have been one phone for over an hour and the last 20 minutes on hold to speak to a supervisor. The rep I am speaking to tells me there is no MANAGER AVAILABLE!!!! I called to quest the below official exchange rate exchanges that I am getting when I use cirus ATM in Brazil over the last 2 weeks. As a gold customer I am suppose to get a preferred rate and I am not even getting the official day rate I would like a return call from a supervisor If I do not answer immediately please call back voice service on my cell phone does not work therefore do not leave a message

Citibank - Horrible service

No one there is on the same page. I have talked to several reps on different occasions and always have been getting the run around. This week I'm done with Citibank. Rep informed me to deposit my check its instant, however they put a hold on it as it's a large amount. Talked to someone and they informed me 24 hours it would be cleared. Talked to another representative and they informed me it will me 3 days I will see a small portion released ($200) and then after the 5th day my full funds will be released to me. This doesn't make sense and has never happened before. This is ridiculous. Note to anyone, DO NOT DEPOSIT WITH THIS COMPANY!

Citibank is absolutely a ship of fools. I agree with your comments.

You can call and speak to customer service and get one answer, then come to the branch for the transaction you discussed...and get a completely different answer. Ask for the supervisor and yet again another answer.

Are they all untrained or just stupid? We are taking our account elsewhere - where people actually think on the job.

I have had the same experience. it's part of their KYC program to avoid dealing with money laundering.

but they're not limiting the process, and they're harassing all their business customers. goodbye Citibank.
