For those who consider banking with Citibank, DO NOT DO IT!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! The bank can make up any false claims to block your accounts even though the reasons are definitely not legit. They can block your accounts for several months while you need the money in the accounts!! Terrible and unethical conduct, I'll end their relationship as soon as they return my money!

Citi has the right to freeze your account without warning to you. When they do, your account goes into the back office account receivables department for review where it then undergoes closure status.

Citi will close the account and funds will be released minus any service fees owed to Citibank. You will never be able to open another Citi product after this happens.

This was a hold the balance for 60 days and then the $300 is paid at he end of day 90. I call 7/17 (day 90 was 7/2) and inquired about the dollars and they said it would be another 90 days before it paid out. I had called 4x during the past 6 weeks. Finally after dealing with unknowlledgeable staff I canceled my account and withdraw ASAP. No cares given and neither do it! I love my USAA ACCOUNT AND my credit union.
