Citibank complaint
with in 1 month Citibank had up the intrest to 30% from 18%! with no explaination, other then they can!

I had always had great credit, and now it is being ruined with no explaination.

went from a 120.00 per month to 1100.00 per month payment!

And try to speak with customer service, you would get more response from a box of cereal.

I call to cancel and they ask "WHY" duh.

But no compormise on the interest rate. They had lost several customer to this and so sorry that they had such a loss in their 3rd quater. It's only bilions.

CitiCard is the worst company I\'ve ever dealt with. I made my payments on time and with some computer glitch or something they felt they would charge me late charges (39 dollars what is that) and when I complained they just said \"try to have your payments on time\" I\'m like I DID YOU GUYS SCREWED UP. I went to use the card at the auto shop and it wouldn\'t work I called and after getting hung up on and having to call 2 or 3 more times I got into a fight with a rep. who told me I\'ve never activated the card which DUH I must have provided I\'ve been using it. So I told him to just cancel the card I proceeded to just activate it. I wrote a letter which they then Credited 39 dollars back Just one late fee after they incorrectly charged me like 5 times....people this not only hurts my credit but I\'m basically paying off the bill twice...what a joke. Then the drivers edge program...I bought a new car filled it with them and never got points for it when I said something after a year they said they couldn\'t do it because I had to have purchased the car with in 6 months..um I did file then Stupid people. It\'s like fighting with a wall. Now I\'m trying to close the account and they are not doing it. LOL great way to get a hold of a scam. CITI CARD *** DON\'T USE THEM. My bank gives me 9 percent interest they charged me 28 percent...anyone wanna do the math on that

Citi whatever has RIPPED ME OFF of my hard earned money!! More than $100 dollars!!! I paid off my balance EACH MONTH and they found some reason to charge me over ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS in finance charges! Then when I asked for the explanation (which in my opinion was a bunch of bullshit - and i was talking to a supposed "account manager" cuz i had already talked to 2 grunt workers before that, one of whom HUNG UP ON ME), I asked for a credit of those charges explaning MY side of the story, they would not credit me for any of it, except the few dollars they were planning on ripping me off of next month's statement. So I asked for my account to be cancelled. She said, "if that's what you would like" and i said, "yes it is". she didn't try to appease me ONE BIT. I had been a LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR FIFTEEN YEARS!!! 15 YEARS!!! That's almost HALF MY LIFE!!!!!!! I guess they're too busy with other customers who are more easily ripped off than I, so they don't need little ole me.  

 

 

Now I have to resort to my Capital One Visa, which is no good to me when I shop at Sam's Club, and takes TWICE as many points to get a reward.......  

 

I'm FED UP with huge, greedy corporations that *** ON THE LITTLE PEOPLE!!!!

CITI is one of the best banks to deal with. You got yourself into the problem by not paying your bill on time for at least three times in one year. Citi is very easy to deal with in this regard. But three mistakes a year are all that are tolerated.
